Medtel Communications* takes your privacy and the confidentiality of your business data very seriously. We understand that your phone system is critical to your business, and that you need to trust that system and the company that provides it fully. This policy outlines the types of information Medtel Communications may collect, how it is used, and our commitment to keeping that information safe, secure, and private.

Medtel Communications provides a service where customer information, system configuration, and call statistical data may be stored on Medtel Communications’ cloud-based servers. Customers have the ability to disable the collection of call statistics data. Disabling this data collection will disable any available graphical reporting capabilities.

In addition, Medtel Communications’ software gives customers, at their discretion, the ability to record and save voicemails, phone calls, chats, and SMS messages. All communications content is stored on cloud-based servers and is password-protected.

Medtel Communications does not review, edit, disseminate, or use individual customer information, data, or communications except:

• To investigate a technical support request initiated by a customer

• To investigate a suspected terms-of-use violation

• As required by law

We may use aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics to assess system performance and scalability.

Medtel Communications may support SMS and MMS messaging as part of its communications services.

Opt-In & Consent
SMS messages are sent only to recipients who have explicitly opted in to receive messages from Medtel Communications or from one of our customers using our platform. Opt-in methods may include, but are not limited to, web forms, written agreements, verbal consent, or keyword-based enrollment. By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Medtel Communications related to your account, services, or support requests. Message frequency may vary. Opt-Out
Recipients may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. Once opted out, no further messages will be sent unless the recipient re-subscribes.

Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies based on customer interaction and service usage. Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier plan.

Data Use & Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information is never shared with third parties.

SMS data may be processed and stored by authorized service providers solely to deliver messaging services, comply with legal obligations, or support system operations.

Medtel Communications does not monitor the content of customer phone calls or SMS messages. At the request of the customer, calls and messages may be encrypted.

When Medtel Communications bills for services rendered, a third-party payment processor may be used to charge customer credit cards and collect payment. Third-party processors are used solely for payment processing and do not store or distribute customer credit card or billing information beyond what is required to complete the transactio

Medtel Communications may collect information from visitors to the Medtel Communications web site, or any other web sites operated by Medtel Communications. We may collect the Internet addresses of Medtel Communications site visitors. We use the information that we log from the Medtel Communications website to both improve our services, and help troubleshoot possible Medtel Communications website problems. We may also analyze non-identifying statistics that we collect from website visitor usage, and provide this data to qualified third parties.

Additionally, Medtel Communications web properties may contain content from third-party content providers, but these content providers neither receive nor distribute Medtel Communications user or customer information, nor do they receive user or customer information from Medtel Communications.
